A vintage belt buckle made by noted Native American silversmith Henrietta Yesele. This specific buckle features classic mid-century traditional Navajo style. Utilizes meticulous applique work including hand-carved flowers, flanking leaf details, flowing wire scrolls and a hand-stamped border decoration. The center contains three natural Southwestern turquoise cabochons set into secured sawtooth bezels. The stones display a beautiful blue-green coloration, highly characteristics of authentic regional mines. Stamped.
The buckle has not been refinished, restored or polished, showing its age and authentic beauty. There is a mark on the top left (shown in photo) evidencing earlier repair.
It fits a 1 3/4 inch belt or smaller. Belt not included, but the one shown is available elsewhere on the site
