We sourced a few bolts of old herringbone-pattern twill and proceeded to sew our own chore coat based on one we picked up in Europe many years ago. We washed each one to give it a softer hand. Light, unstructured, understated.
The coat is "true to size," but given its European heritage it isn't giant... Order your size if you plan to wear a single layer under it, a size larger if you are going to use it as a winter coat.
